Musician and rocker Bret Michaels made a name for himself in the music industry for performing together with the glam metal band Poison, while more recently roaming the hills of TV land and couch potatoes’ minds as the star of the reality television show Rock of Love. The series features the 44-year-old rock star as he interacts and flirts with 25 woman brought together in one house, with the ultimate goal of picking out one romantic prospect from numerous others. However, compared to those stars ostensibly searching for their soul mates in other reality shows, Michaels has openly said that what the girl he wants is someone to play with instead, which her terms a sexual soul mate.In an interview, Michaels explained that he what sought was a girl who could show him a good time, be a friend, and be his sexual soul mate. He even said that it was the kind of person everyone was looking for, someone who could be their friend and also have sex with. He also further shared that the various challenges and events which took place on Rock of Love, were very similar to his own actual personal experiences on the road while touring and performing with Poison. Michaels said it was “Sex, drugs and alcohol every second.”The rock star has stated that while filming the show has been very tiring for him, it was also very enjoyable, and that he is greatly fond of the rock and roll lifestyle. Michaels jokingly commented that while he did get tired and put himself to sleep with the help of booze, he never got tired of his fans or his “lovely” show. Aside from his music career and the reality series, he also helps run his own film production company. He has said that he wakes up everyday wanting to create and prove concepts with his music.
